Tour description

Departure is from your port of call with a driver and an English or German speaking guide to Brugge by freeway until you pass the border to Belgium countryside.

Brugge is one of the most perfectly preserved medieval towns in Europe; it is a remarkable living canvas of old Flemish masters.
Begin with a guided walking tour to the heart of the city with its magnificent Grand Place filled with quaint houses featuring decorated facades, the Halles - covered market - with its belfry, the Place du Bourg with the Saint Sang Basilica, the Gothic style Town hall and the Beguinage - Beguine Convent.
Then you guide will give time at leisure for lunch on your own and souvenir shopping, such as handmade lace or the famous Belgian chocolates.
After this great time in the Northern Venice you will drive back to your port of call.

It is a 1.15-hour motor coach ride each way to Brugge. You need to be in good walking physical conditions, as the bus is not allowed to enter the City. The whole walking tour is about 3 miles (5 kilometers).
